Bob Kulon

The roots of Bob’s creative photography go back to the mid-70's when he became enamored with “the photographic life.” He went from being a self-taught enthusiast to becoming a professionally-trained commercial studio owner. Once the modern day DSLR arrived in affordable form, Bob became re-engaged as an avid shooter advancing his technique. The key to this re-emergence comes as a result of three factors:

  • Bob was already an accomplished photo practitioner.

  • The feedback provided by digital processes makes learning new methods immediate and sensible.

  • Bob has a degree in Computer Science and feels right at home in the "digital darkroom".

Bob digs deep to separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to digital processing of image files. He has a profound understanding and clear delivery. Bob will share this with you using his experience as a seasoned facilitator of adult technical training. Bob helps you understand how everything works as an organized system. His approach is to help you develop streamlined repeatable processes for your particular purposes.

In addition to stock photo sales, fine art print sales, and commercial web-site project management, Bob now presents an ever-increasing series of digital imaging workshops — the DSLR Boot Camps.

Bob is the founder and facilitator of NEO Shoots, an 80-member community of active NE Ohio photo enthusiasts. He is an affiliate of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, the Nature Photographer’s Network, and the Project Management Institute.
