Meals and Lodging

Meals

All meals during the workshop are included as part of the registration fee, beginning with dinner on the first evening. Meals are provided by the Northwoods Inn.

If you have special dietary needs please make them known to our staff when you register for the event.


Lodging

Lodging is the responsibility of the participant and is not included in the registration fee.

Transportation


Getting to the Event

The two nearest airports are Syracuse Hancock International (SYR) and Albany International (ALB). Rental cars are available at both locations.


During the Event

Participants’ vehicles will be used for transportation during field trips. We are adamant about  carpooling as much as possible to minimize the number of vehicles needed for any given field trip, as well as to lessen our impact on easily damaged roads and trails. Note that the instructors are not allowed to provide transportation to workshop participants.
