Overview   The Tug Hill Plateau region of New York lies between the St. Lawrence River to the west and the Adirondack Mountains to the east. While known mainly for significant lake effect snowfall totals; the Tug Hill region is also an amazing area for wildlife photography.

Join Eric on his Tug Hill Plateau property for this spring workshop featuring Wood Ducks. There will be productive blinds set up in prime locations around Eric’s beaver pond. Everyone with a 300mm or longer lens should go home with images to be proud of.

Wild turkeys, barred owls, pileated woodpeckers and various other wildlife species should also be quite active, with their breeding rituals being in full swing. Seagulls on Oneida Lake will give ample opportunity for practicing flight shots.

As part of the program, Eric will present a slide show / lecture discussing a wide range of wildlife subjects and the techniques used to create images of them.

Schedule   An afternoon will be dedicated to flight shooting instruction and practice. In morning and evening participants will visit the various blinds Eric will have set up for approaching wood ducks, turkeys and other animals.
